+ 12:30 hours

It's been a little more than a year I wrote something for myself. I mean, this- my little space. But, today seemed like a perfect moment to recommit to what I love.

Checking few things- earphones plugged in. Volume upped to maximum- just to put off the irksome environment. I started. And I lost myself in a jiffy. I felt nervous- jumpy, like a butterfly tingling effect in my stomach, which never really happened before. THAT feeling!

I’m going to bury that away, and let the happiness of the reason outshine it.

Back in 2011, one stupid boy walked in my life. He blissfully came, did what he was ‘famous’ for, and made a quiet entry in my life. Slyly.  Somewhere between knowing each other and today; he termed me an emotionally damaged girl. And I went a step ahead and wrote a blog post about how I’m just emotionally cautious and not dam-blah-ged! (Oh! 21 year olds do that! *_*). And he, just to add, was another ‘age-not-to-be-mentioned’ boy who probably reacted more to Google than human feelings.

Well, that was two years ago. Things changed.

Call it his nature; where he couldn’t really leave anything midway and had to sort/ organize things (emotional damage) like he wanted; or simple boy falling in love with a stupid girl; we’ve reached here.

Following its routine, time has changed significantly. By 12 and half hours precisely.

Among many here-and-there rules, celebrating birthday together was one of them. Today, is his birthday. And I couldn’t really think of any other way to celebrate it, by writing; by recommitting to one thing I love more.

S,
Watch me over when I call it a day.
Let’s dance to the tune, as you say.
It’s just a beautiful mess over here.
Let me gaze till the clock strikes 12 there.
Happy Birthday.
Love, yours.

I'll be back!

Hello! Blogger world!

Yes! Yes! I am alive. A little under the weather and world; but breathing!
It's been about an year I have written something for my personal space, my personal zone, for Suburban Dreamer. And trust me, it's a terrible terrible feeling.

Well! Let bygones be bygones. The dreamer is back. I am back with stories, feelings, wishes, dreams and a lot more.

Before that. My little sister has decided to make use of her lazy vacations to revamp my blog to the new age tech, app, design and everything. Sounds exciting? Well, I am freaked!

Just hold on to see a revamped mature Suburban Dreamer in few days.
Till then,
Happy reading! :)

A for Apple, B for Best!

From the first trembling steps in the kindergarten, to that drunken walk after a graduation party; there are these special people in the world who we owe everything to. They guide us, they scold us, and they happily take our hatred and still show us that light we’ve been looking for - our Teachers.

Apart from our parents, teachers are the only people who have the ability to reform us. As they say, the strength of anything lies in its foundation. And so does ours. The first teacher who taught you ABC, taught you in a way that she made sure that you could write such long stories or probably write stupid technical codes. And those who followed, made sure they instilled knowledge in such a way that never excretes out!

Among all the teachers I’ve had, there were some special few, who stomped my heart in such a way that they left a deep print! So much that even after 19 years, I remember them. And hope to see them at least once in my walk of life.

Today being the Teacher’s day- I’d love to dedicate this little post to my favorite teachers, with all my heart. Ms. Marina, Mrs. Sonali Malik, Mrs. Renu Gulati, Mrs. Anshu Sahi, Mr. Deepak, Ms. Geeta, Mrs. Tejaswinee Barua; you all have engraved my life with something or the other valuable, that I’m definitely sure of passing it on to my children!:P

And It all began with *A for Apple* and came to *B for Best*! So here’s wishing my best-est teachers a very happy Teacher’s Day! Although a Thank you for whatever they’ve done to make me ‘Me’ wouldn’t suffice; but nonetheless socially it does. Hence, Thank You. Tons.

You. All. Are. Truly. Awesome!:D

TO-DO #4: Write a Blog!

One. Just one awesome thing the workplace has introduced in my life is the MS Office Note! After a random deployment of MS Office 2010 and a day (read: several) of boredom, I found this. Never knew it would replace my daily notepad files of To-Do’s and my Ever-note (which I’m technologically challenged with) on my phone. THIS has thus become my daily To-Do maintainer! The happiness in being organized is pretty much valuable, mind you!

Initially I wrote everything and anything I had to do; till one day when it reached #47! (Honestly!) And that’s when I realized how crazy a To Do can make you! With constant notifications and reminders, making sure you complete your task for the day, or for the coming days when you plan to go shopping; it doesn’t forget and doesn’t let you either. Precisely, it scares the hell outta you!

But! Even with all these flaws -say awesome tech features resembling a mom nagging constantly, I still LOVE it! In fact, writing this blog was a part of my To Do too! Not because I had a blogger’s block, or I was trying to breathe through a 5 feet pile of electronic paper work over my little head; or the medical routine that zonked me out; but ONLY cause I needed it to remind me of not missing out on what I love. :D

Even though the colorful features attract you, it also give you an organized layout of how screwed you are and will be, in no time! Though that helps sometimes, where either you can save yourself the pit hole, or let yourself go, to fall into one. Unless you work in an IT industry where no matter what-how-when-why; you’ll anyway fall! :P

I doubt till the time I start acting on some aspects of my life, I’ll ever be able to stop cribbing about being an engineer. Blah!
Nonetheless, I hope my words speak louder than these petty actions; and transform into some happy heavy-duty actions soon! All I need is Mr. G, some important people to push me, YOU all to read this regularly; and not to miss- the To-Do’s!

And that’s how I’ll end my weird Friday in office! Happy Reading!

LEAP OF FAITH!

The other day I realized how crazy busy life was pre- on- post my ‘happy little vacation’, that I couldn’t even do things that I wanted to. Writing for one.

Now after being back, and being loaded with shit amount of work from left and right, and getting a tight slap from mom (just metaphorically!); I’ve decided to take that leap of faith I always wished to.

You know how crazily you want to do something in life but you just can’t, because you’re scared of how unpredictable life might get, if you do that! The reason is not the fear of failure, but just that you don’t really want to leave the sleazy couch you’re stuck in. Cause for one, it makes you live in a bubble which is secure.

THAT phase :|

But then happiness is something I can’t do without! I’m not bothered about it being a debacle, because even if I fall- I know I can kick back pretty awesomely! But the valor to take this jump is making me hesitant.

I think all I need right now is courage, little support and faith from people around me. In fact a lot of it - to be precise; just to stop running from myself and face what I need to deal with.

It’s the eighth month of the year, ninth in my job, sixth since I started cribbing, and third since I started my new dream planning. Another 10 days minus the laziness, and I’ll do this.

I think I’m ready to take his leap of faith now.
Aah! Mr.G, just stay around. Please.

THE ITCH TO GET THAT BITCH!

As humans, we are bound to make mistakes. Simple fact: we aren’t programmed with the perfect thinking, the perfect decision-making-ability and the perfect judgments about choices or for the matter of fact, people.

I’m a normal human being, like some of them out there!
I’ve made a lot of mistakes, like any other human being!
I’ve had some of the worst relationships, like any other 22 year old!
I’ve had sleepless nights and mind baffling sessions with myself, just like any other adult!
Similarly, I too have several dreams stuck in that subconscious release state of my mind which are impatient enough to ooze out, but somehow don’t find the right channel.

So this “to-do” stuck in that subconscious state of mind makes us scratchy! Such a bitch it is! Damn it!
Basically every human has this *itch*. According to Dictionary.com it is ‘to have a desire to do or get something’. Itch, in simple terms is a strong feeling- which is definitely not about scratching your body! It’s the itch that makes us ‘get’ what we want.

Sometimes it takes us years to realize what caused that itch, or probably find out a proper medication (metaphorically) for it. And sometimes- just the times when you’re really lucky, you understand it and prescribe yourself the perfect cure that’ll take you through that channel!

The ‘Scratch-your-body’ itch gives us an urge to get it done with as soon as possible. Who wouldn’t want to stop scratching his bare back in public right?! Just like that, we get this irrepressible itch, to ooze out our ‘to-do’ and frame it into a picture perfect reality. The one we want! All cause to make our life a little more simple and free from mind-f’ed-ness!
Or to simply say, just to get that bitch out in real!

I’m working towards my ‘to-do’ with a hope to frame it into this real world than the flimsy reel dreams!

It’s time to curb my itch to get that bitch out, right?! Let see how soon that becomes!

Till then, happy reading! :)

DREAMS DON'T WORK UNLESS YOU DO.

During one of the early morning senseless-training-introduction-sessions they asked us to describe ourselves in a word each. And like always, I described myself as a dreamer. Now, generally what I receive as a reaction is ‘Ooh! / Haa! How nice!’ or some mockery. But from nowhere, a person sitting right across me, turned out to be an interjector and questioned about my dreaming reality and ‘procedure’. Yup! ‘What’s the procedure of your dreaming? How do you do that?’
For about 10 seconds I kept staring him with one brow up. (Okay, I can’t do that! But still a similar expression :^\ ) I couldn’t decide whether I should just laugh out loud on his face or answer him outta the designation hierarchy and official environment. But deciding the latter was difficult too, considering he calling himself ‘creative’ without knowing how to color coordinate his clothes while dressing up for office!

I did both. I laughed at first and then answered him asking what dreams meant to him. Not to my surprise he answered what any regular middle-aged-frustrated-sleepless IT professional would. ‘Wahi jo sone ke time pe aate hai ya office mien kabhi kabhi- mainly those that give you temporary happiness and generally poore nahi hote’.
Again! I kept quiet for 10 seconds, stared at him, and then mentally thought of saying –Sirji, grow up no?

I don’t know how you explain a person how to dream! I had no idea what to say! The closest I could think was to tell him what I generally dream about, thinking I might just inspire him to go dream, sleep and stop the boring training session!

After I finished story-telling my dreams, and how this office is one of the ‘loveliest’ places in my satire world; he asked me how do I make sure of getting them to reality. And then from somewhere, (I really don’t know HOW!!?) I quoted him- ‘Dreams don’t work unless you do!” For a minute, I was looking at his awestruck reaction and then I wondered what made me slap such an awesome line on his face, rather what made it strike my mind in the first place only!? Or for the matter of fact, how could John C. Maxwell strike me bang on that time!? Sigh!

Dreams don’t work unless you do. How unintentionally philosophically true can I get! Until and unless you don’t get up and start doing something about your dream, your sleeping on the couch won’t make it come true no!? You dream, you plan, and you *HAVE TO* work out to get it right into the real world. Simple!

After saying those sooper awesome lines, I just added another poster to my wall. And my lazy brain has started its realization process for the ‘To-Do’ - to get those big dreams to reality!

What about you? :)

YEH SAALI ZINDAGI!

Somehow when lots of other things start leading, your ‘I-love-this-from-the-bottom-of-my-heart’ thing takes a backseat. And here I go explaining why I haven’t been blogging that often.

So since quite some time my mind’s on this stupid roller coaster ride, by the end of which I’m sure even my brain would puke! Which I wonder when it’ll end! Sigh!
It goes like this okay; you dream something- you plan it- you follow it till you get it. But then you dream more- you plan that too- and somehow you get close to get that too. But the problem arises when your dreaming-planning-wanting and getting overlaps.

And bam! It did!

It’s not as if it won’t make you happy or anything, but who wouldn’t prefer a simple untangled life!? Not that your dreaming made life complicated but it just happened. Life is fairly simple. But we insist on making it complicated. Natural human tendency it is. We've been told there's a certain way to live- that this is living. And we, we never really question it. We just sort of go along. But what if it's not the best way? What if there's another way that's better? What if there's something more?! This is what makes you dream more and there you go! You make it complicated- or at least mentally complicated enough for you to end up writing a blog post amidst lotta work in the office!

Dreaming, for sure, is not the problem. Or for the matter of fact, the cause of this obscured phase of life. The mind probably is.
And what can you do in such a situation? Simple! Write it down! Or Dance it away. Probably Dream more. And dream even bigger this time! *WORKS!*

Till then, happy reading! :D

LOVE- JUST LIKE THAT!

You can’t control who you fall in love with.

And that’s the only thing I could read from a newspaper- torn and crumpled on the road; while I was walking back home at 22 o’clock! The effect of talking in 24 hour time format with your colleagues! Sigh. :/ Anyway, let’s concentrate on love! YES! :)

So do we get to control our feelings while we are dating somebody? Or to be precise, do we plan our *falling in love* moment? I don’t think so!
When you start dating, you’re on this like-like phase- i.e. the happy little time when whatever you do either makes your relationship or breaks it. Well, not entirely but to an extent. So this making up a relationship part, the stepping stones- as people call it, is the time when the feelings develop- either turns to love or to Tata-Bye-Bye!
And then one fine day, Boom! You’re in love! :) Simple. You don’t dress up better that day; you don’t do things in a new way; it’s just some random day and randomly, you’re in love! ~La La La!~

Yes! it’s thaaaaaaat simple!
You don’t control your feelings, you can’t actually. Planning whether my doing this, or after I do this, ill fall in love; or until and unless this happens, I can’t fall in love with him; and all that jazz DOESN’T work! Really! Really!
You *just* fall in love. Exactly the way it does in the movies- minus the violins and strong winds and people walking in slow motion around…Shit! WHY NOT?!:P

Aaah! This love and the stories, I tell you- SO AMAZING! :)
Oh! And my ‘falling in love’ - I did not plan. ‘Ho gaya bas!’ And for my boy; such a Loveaholic was enough to spill water on his planning! :)

For the love of ‘Louve’.

And it’s Valentine’s Day! Too much *louve* and*pyaar* around! Aaah! :D

In fact my workplace has a valentine jam going session on; with heart shaped balloons all over the trees and the DJ playing awesome-romantic songs! By god, such a jerk! He should realize that there are some stupid-in-love-with-love-people trying to work on Valentine’s Day, that too without a valentine! Sigh!! :||

Being a loveaholic, (YES :)) I love anything and everything associated with the feeling of love. But somehow, I don’t really like the whole idea of this *love-day*. And the whole trail that precedes it! The teddy day, rose day, chocolate day, kiss day and blah-blah day!

What is the point of dedicating just one day to love specially? Just one?? MAKE IT EVERYDAY no!! If you’re in love, be in love the entire 365 days! Better, fall in love more with each passing day! Why just celebrate one day? Too less a time! ;)

Now that my mind’s populated with *aalllll* possible love-stories-dreams, it’s going to be very difficult to get back to work! Tsk!
But *pyar se pyar karne mein* and procrastinating work for itàNo Problem At All! : D: P

P.S. Lover Boy, if you’re reading; just make sure the love happens throughout the 365 days! :)

Happy louve* day World!!

THE DOLDRUMS OF MONDAY!

Monday SHOULD NOT be a part of the week. Aaata hi kyun hai by god!:\

It’s true that you start hating this day once you enter the corporate world, but the seeds are sown since childhood!

Almost all the kids ‘don’t like’ it, for being asked to go to school after a fun-happy weekend. Obviously there are some over-smart-and-sooper-excited ones (like me!), who generally wait for it; cause for them school's the beeesssttteeesssttt place on the earth! Tsk! *School! - IMY! :(*

Then the ‘disliking’ probably grows when you enter college. In fact there are some who love it also. (Which I don't really understand how and why!! Blah! But FOR SURE not me! :|) For me, the 'I-Hate-Monday-Syndrome' started here. Being asked to travel to a place - which was far away from being loved, had an environment as depressing and weird one could possibly be- during the week; and then give a break for just 2 days... is JUST NOT FAIR!! NO WAY! :X

My ‘hatred’ started here and reached the ultimatum too...till one fine day, when I graduated! My weekdays became as happy as my weekends. No partiality, no biasness to any day in particular! Aaah! :D

But then, *THIS* happened! Yeah, I asked/ begged/ prayed/ cried for a job, but minus the nonsensical stuff no! Anyway, this work culture has landed me into a phase where the degree of hatred towards Monday is probably to an extent where even if I use the word ‘abhor’ or ‘detest’, it still might not suffice!

An engineer would probably put it this way -- ‘Sometimes it pays to stay in bed in Monday, rather than spending the rest of the week debugging Monday's code’! And all I feel is, I WISH!! :|

Dear Monday, I don’t hate you as such...just everything you get along is what I don’t love. You’re just a sooper lame way to spend 1/7th of my week!
Learn something from Saturday/Sunday and you’ll be good! Really! :)
Till then, bear my hatred. And everybody else’s too.

Oh! And happy reading!:)

*MAIN, BLACKBERRY AUR HOROSCOPE!*

I hate Blackberry.
I believe in Horoscopes.
But I believe in the Blackberry horoscope… too much!!

So, since a long time my best friend has been sending me my daily horoscope, without fail. All this started cause of a stupid Blackberry application which according to her was cent percent true! So after trying out for some time, I started believing in it too. Tsk!

It started with a simple routine--read the text in half sleep, read it again in the morning and then forget it. Simple! But a while back, it read a line that struck my mind pretty hard! So much so, that I emailed it to my work id to read it again during the day!
And now after 48 hours and blah minutes, that line is still there…in the inbox, saved in a notepad file on the desktop and mapped in my brain!

It goes like:

Believing in miracles may not be easy, but once you start to open your heart to that possibility, you will begin to see a miracle unfold!

Considering the sooper-F-situations around, and the weird melodramatic phase --where you think the whole world gets up in the morning with a single motto of making your life miserable;  this horoscope/ especially the line pulled me outta the pits, literally!

I’ve always believed in magic, miracles, horoscopes, bhavishyawaani’s*, two-for-joy’s, etc etc---all according to my convenience though! Only when I like em’, to be precise! :P
So it happens like this; you tend to get so engrossed in the stupid superficial materialistic life, that you forget you believed in happiness. You lose faith in the concept of -*A happier tomorrow*- which really exists; exactly like the Coke commercial… *Umeed waali dhoop! Sunshine waali aasha!* (Gosh!!! I love it too much!!) :D
And that’s the exact feeling this ‘Blackberry Horoscope’ gave me!

So that’s the little story of me, Blackberry and Horoscopes! Aaah! :D
But, even after falling in love with this Blackberry Horoscope application, I still hate Blackberry!
Just as they say, even if you trust somebody/something- you still might not be in love with them/it!

Till then! Lets *Make.Believe*! :D

BREAKING INTO 2012!

Hello lovely Blog World!
Happy-est New Year! :D
And it’s finally 2012! *THE 2012*. Nothing big until you watch the movie every alternate day on Star Movies/HBO that makes you realize that yes! This might just happen! :P

Such a wintry-wintry January it has been till now! The chill has definitely been one of the best New Year’s gifts from God to me. (I’m his special child you see! So, Thank You Dear God! Keep it coming! :D) **GOSH! I LOVE WINTERS!!** Apart from the chill, there hasn’t been any thing ‘greaaaatt’ as such. But yeah, for all the stuff that’s happening, I’ll count the extreme faith as a gift as well! Again, keep it coming Mr. G!

So like every New Year, this year also brought in the resolution chart with itself! Though it was already marked with last year’s and last to last year’s resolutions, with ‘some-years-due,-still-not-done’ stick notes over them but this year, I’ve decided to wash off all of them! Not because I don’t complete them, which is true; but cause they don’t make sense!

Say losing weight. The # 1 on every girl’s list! So what is the point? Just to fit into XS? Agreed, it makes you feel sooper-awesome, but then ‘there’ll be more to love ladies!’ There’s a lot of awesome-scrumptious food waiting for us to gorge upon! STOP TRYING HARD! :P Hence, this one’s- stroked off completely now!
And so are other ones, which shall not be, and should not be discussed!
Aaah! I feel less burdened man! Sigh! :P

15 days into 2012. A happy pretty year it’s been till now. I wish it turns prettier with each passing day and my *Things to do in this year* list gets checked due time. Tiny wish, little hope of luck and the surety of putting in too much hard-work. Mr. G, make it happen no!

Lot to do. Lot to accomplish. Lot to dream. Lot to love!
Period.

P.S. Happy reading! :D

INTRIGUED BY HUMANS

A while back when a friend told me that humans fascinated him, I laughed! A very natural-normal human reaction.
But now, say after witnessing some things*, I actually realized the real deal behind being *fascinated by humans*. It’s true. There’s something that is different. There is something that lures to look at each one of them! Something that you might just want to leave all your work and stare the hell outta him! SOMETHING!! And, my observations so far are:

Observation one: They are weird!
Observation two: They are weird!
Observation three: They are weird!

Today, just a random little coffee break gave me this *experience*. It’s actually strange how you can love and hate the same person. It’s strange how they can react in 1000 different ways with a same person. And the strangest fact, how every one is so distinct that the there is no dearth of weirdness, AT ALL!

So fascinating! Isn’t it?

So basically, on calculating, it’s just a 5 minute deal.
They’re sweet in a first; they’ll make you fall in love with them during the second; they’ll irritate the F outta you in the third; in the fourth minute you might just feel like ignoring them; and by the last one, you probably would’ve made up your mind to kill them.
5 minutes and that’s how the human weirdness takes toll!

Again, so bizarre!

Had I not been an engineer (I WISH!!), I would’ve probably picked one, injected some injections to find out what actually triggers such fascinated behaviors! And for obvious reasons, my first choice would’ve been this weird-fascinating-woman/human who instilled this post’s idea into me! Honestly, One lucky chick*!

Aah! I think I should calm myself now and get back to some work! I’m going to look out for more fascinating and weird facts about humans and get back here. And I’m sure, as always, they’ll not disappoint me!

Till then, happy reading! :D

REKINDLING THE JOY OF WRITING

Delhi winter mornings, sipping a cup of hot cappuccino, writing what the heart feels and not worrying about work at all; feels amazing!

Oh! Yes my dear blog world, I got a job. Like a real job. Exactly the thing I cribbed about on most of the posts this year. Yes that! : P It’s been almost a month; the first transaction is yet to happen, but what better day than the new years to get a text flashing on your mobile phone saying ‘your-fist-salary has been credited!” Aah! So looking forward to that! :D

So, it’s been a while I’ve written what I felt. Or said. Lot of little little things kept me off writing. Even though the application essays did suck the vocab outta me, but then that’s all claptrap!  Thinking, framing and then writing is not *writing*!

And then there’s a difference in writing *this*. You just don’t have to think! You can go about doing several things and your fingers will just keep typing whatever’s synced with your heart! I’m singing 1234 by Plain white tees, thinking of what to wear for my movie date in an hour, planning my evening schedule for shopping and still writing all this! See, this is the kick *this* writing gives you! Pure joy! :D

There are lotta things, really LOT OF THINGS that are revolving in my mind and heart worth noting down. But then at the same time there are other things that are pulling me down. Stupid work stuff always weighs down your desires. Always! Sigh! Now, I need to get back to the hard reality! SO DON’T WANT TO! : X
Anyway, I missed you Suburban dreamer! And I shall be back with more nonsense pretty soon! Promise!

TRANQUIL HOGWASH

*Palak palak pe khwaab hai, SUN*.

For the first time ever, I’m writing without having anything particular in my mind. It’s like driving on the road without any specific destination to reach. Bas Chalte chalo types! Or talking without making sense. Oh Wait! Which is exactly what I’m doing! Or I do all the time?  Anyway! I just FELT like writing. A feeling I’ve been suppressing since a week, just because nothing ‘that happening’ was happening around. In fact my super theatrical life was going through a weird melodramatic phase, and I didn’t really want some ‘teardrops on my document’ to spoil the happy writings I’ve done so far.

100 words of typical nonsense. A lazy Saturday afternoon. Lot of claptrap running through my mind. Family. Career. Love. Simply, the whole of me. Pheeew!  Being weighed down is not what I want. Being cast off is not what I dreamt of. Being a little-off-the-track-with-life is not my thing. THIS WAS NOT THE PLAN! Sigh! I agree I wanted a Bollywood movie sorta life, but then where is the dancing?! I want to dance, till the day ends, I want to fall asleep dancing, I want to dance every morning, every night, dance when no one is, dance when it’s not OK to dance. I want to never NOT dance. Okay. NO Nagging, NO Cribbing, NO Whining. Period.

I wish I could just pack my bags, not be answerable to ANYBODY, go to a serene frosty place, say LEH, have ‘Shaam-from Aisha’ playing in the background on repeat, with a big mug of Costa’s Caramel flavored Mocha in my hand. Aah! Wonderful! Oh! Add dancing to it too. That’s it. Now it’s a complete pretty picture.

So, Mr. Awesome-dearest-God, your special child lost on the highway of joy is asking for directions. Make it happen. Pretty please.

UNSAID, YET HEARD & UNDERSTOOD

9 Am in the morning and I’m sitting at a sooper crowded metro station, waiting for my date! Yes, date. A relationship where I’m the ‘man’ and ‘my little-miss-sunshine’ takes a while to get ready. Okay! It’s a ‘BFF’ relationship. Let’s not make your brains wander on the streets of insanity. (Sober enough! =P)

Anyway, a crowded metro station. Office Hours. And hundreds of faces with similar yet different expressions. The only thing common is the mind-race; the thinking that happens behind those stupid expressions. Everybody has something or the other boggling their minds. Half have the weirdness the metro offers, the “Fine! Aaj bhi chipko! Uff” expression; some are bugged with the office tension, “arre yaa! Itna kaam! By god!” and some mad people like me have ‘other people’s mind’ on their mind!”

I was just pondering upon the prettiness each facet of life offers, like this one. Such a beautiful concept/fact of ‘unsaid yet understood’ words and feelings. We don’t say anything, yet we are heard clearly. The happiness we feel, actually transfers to lotta people around us, without shouting and screaming! The sadness that makes your eyes moist is understood by some, without you crying about it.  Unsaid yet heard. Amazing, fascinating and beautiful!

So in life, there are very few who get these magical powers; the power to articulate your thoughts into words, without you saying it. I call them magicians!

1.       Your Parents

2.       Your Siblings

3.       Your BFF’s

4.       Your Partner

Rest, just pretend to know you, or probably know you like 50%. Not more than that!

Parents’- by Default! We’re here cause of their unsaid, yet heard and understood, and happened moments! (Pun Intended! =P)

Siblings- Naturally! ‘Khoon ka rishta dude!’ you have the same genes. You tend to think alike! And now that I’m talking about siblings, how can I not mention my sister. She’s a blessing to me. My ‘sab-kuch’ (in-a-filmy-tone). NO DOUBT!

BFF’s- So, these are the relationships that we get to chose. And the ones we hold on to, forever types. Right from the day you meet, to the day you become ‘pals/buddies’, and till the day you become ‘inseparable’;  the journey from ‘describable and explained thoughts’ to ‘I know’ happens. They just get to know you, somehow!

And the last one; your Partner. - Typical Bollywood scenario, ‘aankho hi aankhon mein pyar’ types and the ‘dil-ka-rishta’ theory. I’m a Loveaholic; (yes! I know that is no word, but if I get a chance, I’ll copyright it to myself and add it to the oxford dictionary :D), and for me this ‘unsaid, yet understood’ feeling has to be there. Meticulously! I know it is developed over time, but then you know it from day one. The click, the eyes, the signs! So if you can’t read the eyes, and you can’t listen to what they’re blaring aloud; then excuse me Mister, ’OK TATA BYE BYE! Nice meeting you!’

Aah! I started with my BFF date, went on to metro minds, and finally landed on my regular spot. Gosh! I really need to concentrate on the worldly matters and not heartily ones.

Anyway! My only concern now is the last pointer in the magicians of ‘Unsaid, heard and understood’. So, my dear lover, read carefully. Like VERY VERY carefully! Sun lo, aur samajh lo, Achhe se! =D

I'll go enjoy my Date now! Back to back movies! Yay!*

And you guys; Happy dreaming! :D

CHIPAKK KE!

What makes women think that they can fit into a 10cm space, when their own diameter is wider than at least thrice of it? Why do you even have to step in when you see no space? And why on earth, do you scream out “TSK!” when you land your heavy duty foot on somebody else? Hello! You stomped her!

So while naming this article, the only thing that came to my mind was Red FM’s tag line, “Chaar gaane chipak ke!” minus the songs though!

Yes! I am talking about Delhi metro only!

Delhi metro, without doubt is the biggest relief, an everyday commuter could get. I’m truly thankful to Mrs. Sheila Dikshit too, but all I’m cribbing about is the way people travel. The way women travel, to be precise. Just because we have a separate compartment, “The mahila coach”, doesn’t mean that you can do/stand/sit/etc. anyway you like!

I’m honestly not interested in looking what you’re wearing, and for obvious reasons I’m not talking about the clothes you’re wearing publicly (pun intended!). Or which shampoo you use. I really don’t want to eat your hair, nor am I some Bollywood hero, who’ll fall for you if you splash your wet hair on my face. NO! Or which perfume you’ve applied (And this is for the only few who do. Rest, please take in consideration, but do not go overboard with it!) So, keep your things to yourselves. Oh In fact! Keep yourself intact with yourself! PLEASE!

It’s not that I don’t travel in the women compartment, I do. I walk that extra 50 meters to be in the first dabba of the train, but lately I’ve started to rethink my option of traveling in the general coach. But I failed to be concrete on that! It’s Men Versus Women, here too. Dirty, creepy touching and ogling eyes, VERSUS, lotta women stuck to each other! Uff! Simple yet a preposterous choice! You’re left with no other option than to put yourself through the chipka-chipki!
I wonder how this thing will be tackled. Because the more ladies compartment you add, there will be more ladies to get glued to! Sigh!

Aaah! So, my dear ladies, please ‘find space and THEN get in’. And ‘not get in and THEN find space’. It would help a lotta little people, like me! With deep respect and love, a ‘hurt-on-daily-basis-metro-traveler-who-wants-to-reach-her-destination-without-anger-and-non-furrowed-clothes’.

Thanks! :)

MindAtStake-HeartToRescue

Things happen. Things end.

Shit happens. Shit ends.

Happiness happens. And unfortunately it too ends.

So a teeny-weenie question according to this life rule/fact; “are we supposed to keep a record of these in our head? Or are we supposed to flush it out, the minute it ends?” WHAT?

If it’s the first one, then probably I’m perfectly alright! Mentally, emotionally and All-ally! YAY!!*

And if not (just by chance), we have to flush them out, then I’ve got no other option than agreeing with my friend, who from what angle, in what time, thought I was emotionally damaged!

I wouldn’t call myself emotionally damaged, (for modesty sake!) but instead call my brain a storehouse. It’s not that I intend to jot down everything that happens with me on this ‘roller-coaster life ride’; and dream about a fairytale life to make it better, but it happens! My brain, like me, likes to write and hence makes it a point to note down all the murk, all the bliss, and probably all the events that leave me baffled.

But I guess it’s natural. Isn’t it? We all have a memory-diary, a mind journal which keeps intact each and every moment of happiness that made us roll on floor, and all the heartbreaks that made us suffer. So clearly, my mind is pretty much inclined towards excessive writing, and hence, it ends up writing thesis about the pain, more than the joy! And to balance, to play the Heroine in my life, I let my heart wander on the streets of love and be palpable enough to dream anything; Dream big-wide and huge!

Aah! So, I might be emotionally scared, emotionally cautious, but not damaged. I guess so. At Least *Dil hai ki manta nahi* Right?! :)
